He is deeply concerned about how much polyester people casually wear every day. After years of studying consumers and brands, Rohit decided to start where most outfits actually begin: bottomwear. Wormfood was built to create comfortable, personality-filled pants without the usual “premium fashion” nonsense, while questioning the industry’s obsession with polyester-heavy clothing and microplastics.

He has spent the past decade building software systems as a backend engineer, but over time became increasingly concerned by how casually synthetic, plastic-heavy clothing has become part of everyday life. After years in tech and constant exposure to fast-consumption culture, he started questioning why people carefully read food labels, yet rarely think about the fabrics they wear for 12–14 hours a day.
